Who
ist Tibi?
Tibi (Tiberiu), after whom the company is named, originally came from
Ulm in Germany. At the age of 17 he gained an apprenticeship and trained
in restaurant management until he discovered a new-found enthusiasm for
the profession of electrician.
From 1995 to 1998 Tibi completed a three-year apprenticeship as an electrician
at the Rapp & Electric Fritsch GmbH company and completed his apprenticeship
exam with flying colours. He worked for another two years with this company
and worked his way up to more responsible tasks.
Since Tibi has always been curious about new countries, learning new languages
and knowing more about new customs, he decided to emigrate to Spain in
2000 to "try it out". After about one year of intensive Spanish
lessons, he made the decision to create the company Tibitec and work on
his own.
From 2003 to 2006, Tibi studied at the Spanish master’s school in
Alicante and is qualified to perform all work in the electrical installation
field. This also includes the craft itself and settlements with Iberdrola
and other electricity providers. Tibi is authorized to perform official
inspections and certifications for residential and commercial properties
(Boletín).
With his qualification, Tibi provided the official emergency service for
Iberdrola for 4 years. For personal reasons, this is no longer the case,
but if you have an emergency at home, you can call outside the official
business hours.
As his profession is extremely important to him, Tibi always wants to
stay up to date. Therefore, he attended a training course in Barcelona
in 2008 and is now qualified and authorized to perform KNX installations
and programming.
Tibitec is based in Benitachell, Alicante Province, and works throughout
the whole of the Marina Alta area.
